macOS Installation
1) Install the drivers from cablematters.com/downloads
2) Reference the PL2303 macOS Drive Installation Guide included with the drivers
3) Reboot your computer after the drivers are installed
3) Connect the cable directly to an available USB port on the computer
Important Notes:
• Connected devices must be macOS compatible
• Your device with an RS-232 com port may require additional software from the
manufacturer to connect to the device. Consult the device user instructions.
• Connect a DB9 Mini Gender changer for devices with male screws (sold separately)
• A null modem adapter is required to connect two computers (DTE or DCE devices)

recognizes the adapter in
the Hardware Menu
