1. ReadallSafeguards.
2. CAUTION! THE BLADE IS EXTREMELY
SHARP.HandletheBladecarefullywhencleaning,
removing and inserting. DO NOT TOUCH THE
SHARP EDGE OF THE BLADE. Itisrecommended
that cut-proof Kevlar gloves be worn when handling
theblade. NEVER TOUCH THE BLADE WHEN THE
SLICER IS IN USE.
3. Becareful,theBladecontinuestospin afterthe
Slicer hasbeenturnedoff.WaitfortheBladetostop.
NEVER TRY TO STOP THE BLADE in any way
whatsoever. DO NOT touchmovingparts.Personal
injurymayresult.
4. Remove the Blade periodically to clean behind.
Cleanwithhotsoapywater.CarefullywipeBladewith
rubbingalcoholandallowtodry.
5. Periodically inspect the Blade diameter. DO
NOT USE THE SLICER IF THE DIAMETER OF
THE BLADE HAS DECREASED BY 3/8” (0.95 cm).
ReplacetheBladeifnecessary.
6. DO NOTusetheFood SlicerwithouttheFood
PresserandtheFood Carriagesecuredintoplace.
7. ALWAYS DISCONNECT Food Slicer from
powersourcebeforeservicing,changingaccessories,
whentheFood Slicer isnotinuseorcleaningtheunit.
8. PlugtheFood Slicerintoastandard120Volt,60
Hzwalloutlet.
9. DO NOT use theFood SlicerifthePower Cord,
Plug oranyotherpartsaredamaged.DO NOT use
with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctionsorisdroppedordamagedinanymanner.
IftheFood Slicerisdamaged,callCustomerService
to return the Food Slicer for examination, repair
or electrical or mechanical adjustment.. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE CORD. Besuretonot
allowthePower Cord todrapeintoyourworkareaor
ontohot surfaces.Check that allparts are operating
properly,andperformtheintendedfunctions.Check
foralignmentofmovingpartsoranyotherconditions
thatmayaffecttheoperation.
10. NEVER use any accessories or parts from
other manufacturers. Doing so will VOID YOUR
WARRANTYand maycausere, electricalshockor
injury.
11. TOPROTECTAGAINSTRISKOFELECTRICAL
SHOCK:DO NOT SUBMERGETHEFOOD SLICER
INTO WATER OR LIQUID. BE SURE THE FOOD
SLICER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER
SOURCE BEFORE CLEANING. Wash all parts by
handandthoroughlydry.Thoroughlycleanallpartsthat
willcomeincontactwithfoodbeforeusingtheappliance.
NEVERrinseapplianceFood Slicerundertap,onlyuse
amoistclothtocleantheFood SlicerMotor Unit.
12. Reduceriskofunintentionalstarting.Makesure
the Power Switch is in the “OFF” position before
attachingtothepowersource.
13. KEEP FINGERS CLEARofthe BladeAT ALL
TIMES. NEVER REACH INTO THE Blade, doing
so may cause serious injury. ALWAYS USE THE
PROVIDED FOOD PRESSER, NEVER FEED FOOD
BY HAND.
14. NEVER usengerstoscrapefoodawayfromthe
Bladewhilethe Food Slicer isinoperation.NEVER
feedthefoodintothe Food Slicerbyhand.SEVERE
INJURY MAY RESULT.
15. NEVER LEAVE THE FOOD SLICER
UNATTENDED. Be safe, DISCONNECT the Food
Slicer from power source before leaving the work
areaorwhen the Food Slicer isnot inuse. Close
supervisionisnecessarywhenanyapplianceisused
nearchildren. This appliance isNOT to beused by
children.
16. Waituntilallmovingpartshavestoppedbefore
youremoveanypartoftheFood Slicer.
17. TIE BACK loose hair and clothing, and roll
up long sleeves before operating the Food Slicer.
REMOVE ties, rings, watches, bracelets, or other
jewelrybeforeoperatingtheFood Slicer.
18. Be sure the Food Slicer is on a stable work
surface.BesurealltheFood SlicerFeetarestable.
19. Operate the Food Slicer only when the Blade
Locking Screw is properly engaged and tightened.
Toavoiddanger orinjury,only usetheFood Slicer
whenfullyassembled.
20.DO NOTattempttoslicesh,bonedmeats,frozen
orotherharditems.
21.WEAR EYE PROTECTION.Wearsafetyglasses.

22.DO NOT useoutdoors.
23. DO NOT usethe Food Slicer while under the

25. DO NOT attempt to operate the Food Slicer
if the Food Slicer itself is cold. The Food Slicer
