disappear,andareverbdevelops.TheV2offersaslap-back
delayandtworeverb’swithfixedpre-delayandtimeparameters.
SlapBack: Thiseffectisa90msslap-backdelaywithveryfast
decaywhichprovidesaneffectkindoflikeanextremelyquickor
muffledecho.
DelayEffects:
Chorus: TheV2chorusisasinewavechoruswithfeedback
andwhichgivesitafuller,richerwithmoremovement.Itwas
modeledtocloselyapproximatetheclassictoneofanold
RolandCE-1box.Itisdeepandrichsounding.
Flanger: Flangeisthatfamiliar“jetengine”whooshrecognizable
inmanyrecordingsofthe70’s.Theflangeeffectselectedorthe
V2iscloselymodeledaftertheflavorofanoldADAstompbox.
Theeffectisalight,moresubtleflange,withnopre-delay.
Double: Thisdelayeffect,referredtoasdoubling,issetat
roughly25ms.Itisbasicallystraightdelaywithnofeedback.
Itisidealforrockabillyandcountrylicks.Combinethiseffect
withareverbandgetafuller,thickersound.
V2DigitalEffects:
Inadditiontoallthegreat,analogampemulationmodelsbuilt
intotheV2,therearesomeawesomesoundingdigitaleffects.
TheV2isDSPdrivenwithproprietarysoftwarecontrolling
two(2)independenteffectbankslabeledDelayandReverb.
Eachbankhasthree(3)differenteffectstochoosefrom.The
Delaybankincludesdoubling,flangeandchorus.TheReverb
bankincludesaslapbackecho,aclubsizereverb,andamid-
sizedarenareverb.Youcanchooseanyoneoftheeffects
independently,oryoucanchooseone(1)effectfromeach
bankandcreateasoundwithtwosimultaneouseffects.
Thelevelbuttonallowsyoutoselecttheintensityofthe
selecteddelayand/orreverbeffects.Therearetwopositions:
highandlow.Thisbuttonisnotactiveunlessadelayor
reverbeffectisselected.
