3.2.1.2.4 Real World Activity: Update MOD
The MOD Archive Application acts as an FSU using the Interchange option when requested to update an
MOD.
The MOD Archive Application will take the selected list of SOP instances and eliminate any SOP instance
that does not correspond to permissible SOP instances listed in the Application Profiles Table 3.2-1. The
remaining SOP instances are written to the media that is found in the MOD Archive Application disk drive.
The determination of the potentially applicable Application Profile is dependent on the type of media and
associated software on which the AE has been invoked.
