2.2.1.3.2 Verification Request from Remote AE
This AE is indefinitely listening for associations. No operator action is required to
respond to a verification message.
2.2.1.3.2.1 Associated Real-World Activity
The Real-World Activity associated with the verification request is to send a C-
ECHO response message with a status of “success” to the requesting AE.

2.2.1.3.2.2.1 SOP Specific Conformance to Verification SOP Class
The DICOM Server AE provides standard conformance to the DICOM Verification
Service Class.
Each ECHO operation supports an “Association Timer”, “Operation Inactivity
Timer” and “Session Timer” with a time out values of 900 seconds, 900 seconds
and 60 minutes respectively.
2.2.1.3.3 Query Request from Remote AE
This AE is indefinitely listening for associations. No operator action is required to
respond to a query request.
2.2.1.3.3.1 Associated Real-World Activity
The Real-World Activity associated with the query request is to search the local
database for entries that match the request and send a C-FIND response message
with a status of “pending” for each matching entry.
