The vehicle B+ cable lug must fit over the
shoulder insulator without damaging it. Failure to
properly seat the terminal and other hardware
can result in major damage to components and
other equipment.

Alternator is shipped with spacer-tag in this position.
Remove spacer-tag and replace with
Vehicle “B+” cable lug.
