Floor Anchoring
Floor loading and anchoring requir em ents
are the responsibility of the user/installer
and all applicab le bu ilding codes and
regulations m ust be f ollo wed. C&D
provides connection drawings, weight s ,
dimensions, and floor loading information
on our system drawings for reference
which is supplied with ever y shipment.
Anchor bolts are the responsibility of the
user/installer and are not supplied with the
order.
1. Where floor anchoring is required, place
bas e assem bly into position an d ma r k
the anchor locations us ing the bas e as
a t emp lat e (See Figure A6 & A7).
2. Si x 13/ 16” [20. 6mm ] holes are
provided in the system base for floor
anchoring.
3. I nst a ll f lo or an c hor s an d r e pos it i on
base onto anchors (See Figur e A8).
4. Install anchor hardware and verify top
surf a ce of bas e as sem bly is l evel i n
both a xes, if nec essar y in st al l sh ims t o
level base.
5. Once base assembly is level, torque
anchors to proper rating based on
manufactures specification. (See F igure
A8).
6. A level base is part icu lar ly import ant
for t he stability and safety of high,
narrow stacks.
If tool clearanc e is an issue rear anchors can be accessed
using a standard 3/8” extension as shown.
