The AOR SDU5600 is a compact LCD spectrum display unit for spotting
and capturing brief transmissions within 10 MHz of the tuned frequency.
Designed as a companion for the AR 5000+3 receiver, the SDU 5600 can
also be used with any receiver with an IF output between 6-15 MHz. Fuc-
tions include step size selection for direct channel sampling, and continuous
spectrum mode (with choices of peak, max, average). On-screen support
is provided for AR5000, AR5000+3, AR3000A, ICOM® IC-R7100, IC-
R8500, IC-R9000 and “Others.”
Other receivers equipped with a 10.7 MHz IF output can provide signals
to the SDU5600 but the sweep span could be limited depending on the IF
characteristics of the chosen receiver.
