JRC NRD-545
The NRD-545 employs virtually every feature you want in a general
coverage communications receiver. A continuous tuning range from 100
kHz-30 MHz {30MHz~2,000MHz with optional converter} with 13 tuning steps as fine
as 10 Hz or as large as 100 kHz.
All mode reception (AM, USB/LSB, FM, RTTY, or CW) and SSB sensitivity
of .32 microvolts capture the weakest signals. The 106 dB dynamic range and 70 dB image/IF rejection virtually
eliminates spurious responses, as adjustable bandwidths from 10 Hz to 10 kHz, triple up-conversion, adjustable
notch filter, and passband tuning approach interference-free reception.
Digital signal processing uses an algebraic operation method for signal detection, generation, inference, process-
ing, or transmission. Compared to analog signal processing circuits, digital signal processors are more advantageous:
They only require less precise components; they are robust against drift and interference; they are easier to integrate
with high precision; and they offer greater flexibility with software processing.
