Now you can listen to your favorite shortwave, talk radio, music broadcast, scanner activity, anytime you want
by pre-recording the transmissions—at normal tape speeds or up to four hours on one side of a standard 120
minute cassette (a tape and tri-plug patch cord are provided)!
Excellent as well for preserving conferences with its built-in microphone,
and for recording important telephone conversations with an optional patch
cord (a beep tone can be activated to remind other telephone callers that a
recording is being made).
A six-event timer allows you to automatically turn the recorder on at a
pre-arranged time and day. You can use the voice activation to economize
tape during periods of audio inactivity, or even remote- or manually activate the
recorder. The large internal speaker provides quality sound at high playback levels.

NITELOGGER II Automatic Tape Recorder Activator
The Nitelogger II is a device which allows recording sound from an audio source
only when an audio signal is present; its main purpose is to avoid the recording
of the silence eventually present at the input. It has been designed in particular for
radio-scanner hobbyists. If you are one of them, you already know how much time
has to be spent when monitoring a new frequency: the traffic on the new channel is
very sparse and communications are short, with long pauses between each one.
With Nitelogger II you can compress a whole day’s worth of monitoring onto
a single tape. You can leave it on and connected to a scanner at home while you are at the office or doing
something else; later, you can listen the messages caught by your scanner however many times you want. In this
way you can quickly monitor suspicious channels and have all the “action” into a single tape.
