Select-A-Tenna Medium-Wave Loop Antenna Booster
Apartment dwellers and mobile home owners, boost your 530-1700 kHz AM broadcast
reception up to 30 dB with the famous Select-A-Tenna! Improves adjacent channel rejec-
tion, reduces signal fading. Tuning knob selects your listening frequency.
No batteries, power, or connection required to AM radios with internal antennas. Simply
set the Select-A-Tenna next to your radio, peak the tuning knob, and listen to AM broadcast
signals soar out of the background noise!
This 11”, high-Q loop antenna focuses its captive signals to your radio’s internal ferrite
loop without any physical connection! If your receiver requires an external antenna, a
convenient 3.5 mm (1/8”) jack and plug are provided.
Connect an outside wire to the Select-A-Tenna and receive medium wave signals like you’ve never heard
before!
Super Select-A-Tenna
Up to 40 dB gain over your portable’s internal AM antenna! Coarse and fine tuning al-
low accurate signal adjustment from 530-1700 kHz; regenerative amplifier boosts incoming
signals. May be used as a wireless-coupled loop, or directly wired to the external antenna
jack of your radio, or to tune a larger outdoor antenna!
Specifications:
The Super Select-A-Tenna is an active device with additional controls that has an internal
regenerative amplifier and requires a 9V battery (not included). The unit has an additional variable 0dB to +10dB
gain added to the intrinsic +30dB for a useful gain up to +40dB. The unit has both Coarse and Fine Tuning controls
for ease of operation at the higher gain settings. It also has the capability to effectively drive a remote ferrite probe.
This is useful on applications of large case radio installations that the Super Select-A-Tenna cannot access directly
with it’s intrinsic near proximity effect.
The 541-S has a high-signal level and low-impedance balanced drive port for the ferrite probe. This provides the
capability to not only drive the 6 ft. coaxial cable and probe, which are included, but the cable may be extended to
as much as 26 ft using extension cables readily available locally. This is very useful for remotely locating the 541-S
away from radio noise sources or into better signal locations, when moving the radio itself may be inconvenient.

The new Hidden Flex-Tenna is easily installed in an attic crawl space and provides continuous 10 kHz-2500 MHz
reception for wide-frequency-coverage receivers and scanners! When an outdoor antenna is not an option, the Hid-
den Flex-Tenna will provide optimum indoor reception.
Measuring 24 feet in length (the longwave/shortwave elements) and supporting a short hanging pair (VHF/UHF
