c) Switching Inputs 230 V and 32 V
All switching inputs are disconnected from areas of the GSM PCB that may be touched securely by optocouples.
Theseparationbetweenthe230Vswitchinginputsandtheinternallowsafetyvoltageisdesignedforovervoltage
category III and contamination degree 2 according to
EN60664-1. Underconsiderationof theconditions named,the industrial installationsmay beused. Observethe
generallycommonsafetyruleswhenopeningthefrontapandduringinstallationorconnectionwork.
The230Vswitchinginputssharethesameneutralconductorbutaregalvanicallyinsulatedagainstallotherconnec-
tions together.
The32V-switching inputsaregalvanicallyinsulted against eachotherandtheGSMPCB.Themaximumvoltage
between the two pins must not exceed 32 V.
ThecurrentstatusoftheswitchinginputsisautomaticallysignalledviatheLEDsandindicatedintheSTATUS-SMS.
Thereisnodifferencebetweentheinputswherecongurationisconcerned.
Observe the following when connecting the 230 V switching inputs:
• Compliance with the safety notes
• Wire end sleeves must be used

Linecross-sectionconnectionsIN4-IN5:1,5mm²
• IN1 to IN3 must be on the same N-potential.
• Thevoltageareasforhighandlowarefoundinthetechnicaldata.
 Allswitchinginputs(IN1toIN5)andallrelays(OUT1toOUT3)haveadelayofatleast1andnomorethan
3seconds.Thisdelaytimemustbeobservedforeachconditionchange.Thisappliesspecicallyfortime
measurements.
