2. Group Management (G1, G2, G3, G4, G5)
Groupadministrationwas introducedforbetteradministration ofmanyphonenumbers.The groupsareassigned
rightstospecicactionsand/orreceiptofspecicinformation.
Inthermwareversionatthetimeofprint,5groupsareavailablewiththerstgroupG1automaticallybeingusedas
„Default“ for new numbers.
Differentauthorisationsmaybeassignedtoandrevokedforeachgroup.Thefollowingauthorisationsoptionsare
availableatthetimeofprint:
ALARMSMS:
Inthe„ALARMENABLE“mode,thisgroupissentalarmmessages.Forexample,themaintenancecounterfora
switchinginputcanbesetsothatanalarmisgeneratedaftertheendofamaintenanceinterval.Thealarmtextmes-
sage would be sent to everyone in the group.
NEWS:
Inthe„ALARMENABLE“mode,thisgroupissentthe„NEWSLETTER“textmessage.EveryonewhoknowsthePIN
numbercansendamessagetotheproductthatisthenforwardedtoallNEWSgroupmembers.Formoreonthis,see
the chapter on the function „NEWS“.
SMSFORWARD:
TheFORWARDfunctionforwardsunknownmessagesreceivedbytheproducttothisgroup.Forexample,thead-
ministrator of the product receives the message from the GSM provider that the credit on the PrePaid card is used
up.Recipientsofalarmmessagesmayalsorequestbeingremovedfromthephonebook.Formoreonthis,seethe
chapter „FORWARD“.
INCALL1, INCALL2, INCALL3:
TheproducthasthreeexchangerelaysOUT1toOUT3.TheINCALLfunctionwasdevelopedtobeabletoswitch
freelyofchargebycalling(callisnotacceptedbutrejected).If,e.g.,groupG3istobeauthorisedforINCALL2,every
membermayswitchtherelay,e.g.for 5 seconds,bycalling(depending on setting).Formoreinformation on this
subject,seethechapteronINCALL.
