5. Setting the Time (TIME)
Thecurrenttimeisneededforspecialfunctions.Thetimeissetwiththefollowingvalue:

TESTdisplaysthecurrentsetting.
 Theclockhasasmall,internalsupportingbattery.Itischargedbutonlyusedforshort-termbridging.
b) Phone Book Function and Conguration
Thischaptertreatstheadministrationandsettingoptionsforthephonebookandauthorisations.
Theproductcanbeconguredwithmanyphonenumbersandemails.Theycanbegroupedtoimproveoverview.
Theindividualgroupscanbeconguredintheirauthorisationforswitchingorforuseofotherfunctions.Thenumber
ofnumbersandgroupsmaychangedependingonrmwareversioninfuture.Thermwareversionhad50memory
slots for phone numbers with 5 groups at the time of print.
Authorisations are not assigned to the phone numbers but to the groups only.
Thephonenumbersmustbeenteredininternationalformat.
Example: 0177/12131415->[phone]
 MostGSMproviderssubmitincomingcallsintheinternationalformat.Therefore,thenumbersareneeded
in this format to warrant recognition.
 SomeGSMproviders(specicallyAustriaandSwitzerland)onlysubmitthephonenumbersinthenational
format,whichmakesrecognition(INCALL)moredifcult.Inthiscasethenationalformatmustbesavedin
thephonebook.Thismakesitimpossibletouseanyforeignphonenumbers.
 Manyfunctions,suchasINCALL,requirethattheownphonenumberistransmitted(callerIDtransmissi-
on).Ifyouactivatethe„incognito“functionofyourmobilephone/GSMprovider,youwillbeunabletouse
manyoftheproduct’sfunctions.
 Thesecurityofincomingcallrecognition,e.g.,foraccesscontrolcorrespondstothesafetyleveloftheGSM
provider.TheproductonlyveriesthenumbertransmittedbytheGSMprovider.
