9. Operating Mode and Special Commands
The alarm mode:
Themostimportantoperatingmodeisalarmmode.Onlywhenitisactivated(mode„ALARMENABLE“)willtheGSM
module independently perform actions like sending of text messages or switching the outputs.
Whenthealarmmodeisdisabled(„ALARMDISABLE“),theproductwillonlyreacttocustomeractions(textmes-
sagecommand,etc…).Iftheproductdoesnotreactasdesired,itcanbeswitchedintoasecureconditionwiththis
command.
Due tothis importance, the command deliberately deviatesfrom the regular command formatfrom the previous
chapter.

BLOCK mode:
BLOCKmodesetswhethertherelaysmayswitchornot.WhenBLOCKisactivated,allrelaysaredeactivatedatonce
and can no longer be activated until BLOCK is deactivated.

ThefrontbuttonoftheGX155alsoswitchestheBLOCKmode.OnepushofabuttonactivatestheBLOCKmodeat
once.Thebuttonmustbepushedfor3secondstodeactivate.
 Sendingofatextmessageandoperationofthebuttonareequalinrank.
ThecurrentconditionofBLOCKissignalledwiththe„ERROR“LED.Whenthemodeisactive,theredLEDremains
lit.Alternatively,thecurrentconditioncanbedeterminedwiththeSTATUSSMS.
