Information

b) AC adapter/power cord/mains voltage
• Devices that operate on the mains voltage must be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren. Operating the device incorrectly represents the risk of a life-threatening
electric shock!
• The structure of the power supply unit complies with safety class I. It may only be
used when connected to an earthed mains socket.
• The mains outlet used for the connection must be located close to the product
and easily accessible.
• Use only the supplied power adapter to power the robot arm.
• Always unplug the mains plug using the gripping surface intended for this purpose.
Never unplug the mains plug from a mains socket by pulling the cable!
• If the power adapter or power cord is damaged, do not touch it; electric shock is
life threatening.
First, switch off the mains voltage to the mains socket to which the power adapter/
power cord is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove
the safety fuse and then switch off at the RCD protective switch, so that the socket
is fully disconnected from the mains voltage).
Then you can remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Dispose of the damaged power cable in an environmentally friendly way and do
not use it again. Replace it by a power adapter/power cord of the same design.
c) Operating location
• The product may only be used in dry interiors; it must not get damp or wet! Never
set up the product in the direct vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub or similar.
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• The product must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, direct sunlight or
strong vibrations.
• Completely unwind the mains cable during use. The power cable must not be
pinched or damaged by contact with sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the
cable, and do not allow it to become kinked. Install the cable where no one can
stumble over it and the plug is easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable
under carpets or the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust,
ammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of re and explosion!
• Place the robot arm on a clean, stable, level, sufciently large surface, so that it
stands rmly and cannot fall down. Otherwise the robot arm may become dam-
aged, voiding the warranty.
d) Handling and use
• Never plug in, unplug or operate the product when your hands are damp or wet.
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Never connect the product to the power supply immediately after it has been trans-
ferred from a cold room into a warm one (e.g., during transport). The condensation
that develops in such cases could damage the device or cause an electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation has
evaporated. This might take several hours. Only after this should the product be
plugged into the power supply and put into use.
• Do not use the product when it is damaged (e.g., housing or power cable). There
is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• In this case, let an expert check the product.
• Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (leaking smoke or a smell of
burning, audible cracking noises, discolouration to the product or the adjacent
surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Use the product only in a temperate climate, never in a tropical climate.
• Never pour any liquids above or next to the product. You run the risk of causing a
re or a fatal electric shock.
If however, liquid has still entered the device, immediately turn off the power sup-
ply (fuse/circuit breaker/residual circuit breaker). Only then can you unplug the
mains plug from the mains socket and contact a specialist. Do not use the product
any longer.
• The robot arm must be checked for loose parts before each start-up. Secure
cables/wires, for example, so that they cannot get into the mechanics of the robot
arm; protect cables/wires from sharp metal parts of the mechanics.
• Never touch the robot arm during programming or operation. The robot arm can
suddenly move and cause injuries.
Keep the body and clothing away from the robot arm during operation.
• Do not overload the robot arm. This is only suitable for lifting or moving light
weights. Overloading can damage the mechanics or electronics and void the war-
ranty/guarantee!

Robot arm CCR-45
Item no. 1604579
Intended use
The robot arm is ideal to use for training or at home (not for industrial applications). It is possible
to attach different attachments, such as a gripper arm, universal holder, suction cup or 3D print
head (may not be contained in delivery, can be ordered separately). Extension interfaces are
available as well as an integrated Bluetooth
®
receiver.
Suitable apps for iOS and Android are available, see the link at www.ufactory.cc. From there
you can also download different software for the robot arm for free (for PC, Mac and Linux).
The device is connected to a computer via a USB port. In addition, a Firmware update is also
possible.
Optimal repeat accuracy during movements is made possible, thanks to its stable metal con-
struction, the use of precision stepper motors and sensors.
The robot arm works with the included external power adapter.
For safety and approval reasons, do not convert and/or alter the product in any way. If you use
the product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be damaged.
Moreover, improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, re, electric shocks, etc. Please
read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to
a third party, please include all documentation.

sonal injury, such as electric shock.
An exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates important instructions in this operat-
ing manual which must be adhered to.
The arrow symbol indicates specic tips and advice on operation.
