How to Use
Connect a supply voltage of between 8V and 12V to the VCC and GND pins. This is used to
power the relay coils when they are switched on. A power Indicator LED indicates when power
is supplied. Ensure that power is applied in the correct polarity (+) to VCC, and (-) to GND.
Applying power the wrong way round will damage the board!
The jumper acts as a shorting link which links the signal ground to the power ground. If you
want full isolation for your microcontroller from potentially noisy relays, this link can be
removed.
Therefore, remover the jumper, and input signals from your microcontroller should be supplied
between the COM pin and each input pin. COM should be connected to your microcontroller's
GND. The relay input pin (IN1, IN2, IN3 etc.) should be connected to the signal voltage line
from your microcontroller. We recommend that you place a current limiting resistor in-line with
your input pin and the relay input.
To switch your chosen relay e.g. IN1, will switch relay 1, apply the signal voltage.
