Step 3:
• The new controller must be calibrated with the existing mobile platform.
• Proceed into the Maintenance screen and select the tab of the axis you wish to calibrate on the
upper right. The only calibrations we need to perform are for the Azimuth (AZ) axis and
Polarization (PL) axis. There is no importance of which is performed first, as long as both are done
consecutively.
• No Polarization (PL) calibration is required if the platform is equipped with a tilt sensor: (Platform
ver. 3.x (980/1200) and 2.x (1800) the calibrate PL will be “grayed out”.
