d) Receiver Rotary Switch: The receiver rotary switch is
used to decrease the sensitivity of the receiver.

Sensitivity
Set the switch to F for maximum receiver sensitivity. Set the
switch to E to decrease the sensitivity by 2dB and set to 0 for
minimum. Refer to Table 14. Receiver Sensitivity Switch.
The switch setting for the receiver sensitivity (Rx Gain)
should be set the same as the transmit switch (Tx Gain) to
balance the transmit/receive path losses.
Note
If the RR jumper is shorted, it further reduces the
receiver sensitivity by 11-12 dB.
