Remove the Coin Cell Battery
1) Press and hold for 3 seconds to deactivate the detector.
2) If the battery pack has not been removed, remove it now. For more information, refer to
Remove and Dispose of the Alkaline Battery Pack or Remove and Dispose of the
Rechargeable Battery Pack.
3) Loosen the 5 screws that secure the back panel of the ImpactXtreme.
4) Remove the back panel to expose the main PCB. The coin cell is located in the upper left
corner of the board.
5) Remove the 2 screws holding the PCB in place, then remove the PCB.
6) The coin cell is connected to the board by 2 leads. Clip the leads individually to remove the
coin cell.
7) Dispose of the coin cell in accordance with local laws.
