BEFORE USE OPERATION Read all instructions carefully before attempting to assemble or operate these pumps. Most malfunctions in new equipment are the result of improper operation and/or improper set-up assembly. 1. Check oil level, add oil if necessary. 2. Make sure system fittings and connections are tight and leak free. 3. Place control valve lever in the middle (Neutral/Hold) position to prevent accidental lifting or moving of load. 4.

Port A P Port B Port A T P Port B T Position 2: Neutral, Position 3: Pressured ports A and B are oil flows to port B, port closed. Hold Position. A returns flow to tank. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE A system failure may or may not be the result of a pump malfunction. The following information is intended to be used as an aid in determining if a problem exists. Symptom Motor will not start Possible Causes • No power or wrong voltage • Damaged power cord • Tripped circuit breaker • Loose or faulty wiring Corrective Action • Check the power supply & voltage • Contact Customer Service • Make sure breaker is of adequte size.
