Growing Instructions
Lavender/ Chamomile WSG
Place the growing medium pellets in a large bowl. Add 2-1/4 cups of warm water. Allow the pellets to
absorb the water and fluff with a fork, adding more water if needed. Pour ¾ the growing medium into the
container, reserving the rest to cover the seeds. This kit has two seed packets. Divide the container into 2
sections. Sprinkle Lavender seeds evenly over the surface of the growing medium in one section and
gently press into growing medium. Do not cover; lavender seeds need light to germinate. Sprinkle
Chamomile seeds in the other section and lightly cover with remaining growing medium. Place in a warm,
sunny location. Use a fine mist or watering can to keep growing medium moist, but not soggy.
Germination requires consistent temperature and moisture. To stimulate the germination of the seeds,
cover the pot with a piece of plastic wrap. Remove the plastic once the seedlings emerge. Use a standard
plant fertilizer when your seedlings are 2”– 3” tall, following the instructions on the fertilizer packaging.
