Status Bar
The status bar at the bottom of the BuzzEdit
workspace displays
the following information:
The first part of the status bar describes the actions of menu
items as you use the arrow keys or mouse to navigate through
menus, and describes the actions of toolbar buttons under the
mouse cursor.
The second part of the status bar indicates the color of the
current selection. If the selection comprises more than one
color, the number of thread colors in the selection is displayed.
If the cursor is position before the first stitch, the number of
thread colors in the design is displayed. You can click on this
portion of the status bar to bring up the Choose Color dialog
box.
The third part of the status bar indicates the starting and ending
stitch numbers of the selection. If the cursor is positioned
before the first stitch, the number of stitches in the design are
displayed. You can click on this portion of the status bar to
bring up the Select Stitches dialog box.
The fourth part of the status bar indicates the dimensions of the
current selection or, if the cursor is positioned before the first
stitch, the dimensions of the entire design.
When using one of the tools in the Stitches-in-Space toolbar
to move or otherwise transform the current selection, the fourth
part of the status bar contains pertinent information. For
example, the x and y offsets during movement, the resize
percentage during resizing, and the degrees of rotation during
rotation are displayed here.
