Because you can change the center and axis of
stretch, you have complete control over how your
selection will be stretched. The stitches located
at the center of the stretch do not move; the rest
of the selection grows or shrinks away from this
point. This feature is useful if you are trying to
stretch an area of the design slightly to eliminate
gaps between design segments.
Add
Stitches
Activates the Add Stitches tool. Use this tool to
manually insert stitches into a design one at a
time. To add a stitch, click in the Space window
at the location for the next needlepoint. In Time,
the stitch will be inserted after the last stitch in
the current selection (the stitch cursor).
Move
Stitches
Activates the Move Stitches tool. Use this tool to
move a stitch or a group of stitches in the design
one at a time. To move a stitch, click in the
Space window on the new needle point location.
The last needle point of the current selection
(the stitch cursor) will be moved. When you move
a needle point, the stitch cursor advances by one
stitch, thereby allowing you to progress through a
group of stitches, moving each of their needle
point locations in sequence.
You can also move a needle point by first
selecting it and then dragging into place using
the Lasso/Move tool.
