1 Choose the Lasso/Move tool
and Make your Selection
In this example, we will move the
bee portion of the design. Use the
lasso tool to select the bee. This
technique is described on page
99 of this chapter.
The bee is selected.
2 Choose the Lasso/Move tool
Since you used the lasso to make your selection, the
Lasso/Move tool button should already be
depressed. If you made your selection using the
Time graphs instead, click on the Lasso/Move tool to activate it.
3 Move the Selection
Position your mouse inside the selection
indicator box. Your cursor now looks like
a hand with the index finger extended.
Click and hold down the primary mouse
button and drag the selection to the
desired location. If you watch the
BuzzEdit
status line as you are moving,
you will notice that it displays the offset of
the move.
The bee is dragged to its
new location in space.

Note: In addition to using the Lasso/Move tool, you can also
move your selection by choosing Tools > Move… This will
bring up the Move Selection dialog box. Enter move values on
this screen to move your selection by a specific amount. This is
a useful feature when you have several design elements that
you want to move by the same amount.
