Outline Procedure of Shooting
Installing the Batteries:
1. By using a coin, unlock the battery chamber cover by turning it counter clockwise (Fig. 1).
2. Place the two 1.5V silver oxide G-13 type batteries (Eveready S76 or equivalent) with the minus ( - )
side facing upwards (Fig. 2).4www.butkus.org
3. Replace the battery chamber cover by turning fully clockwise (Fig. 3).
NOTE: CLEAN THE BATTERIES WITH A DRY CLOTH OR PAPER BEFORE INSERTING AND
THEREAFTER AT REGULAR INTERVALS. MAKE SURE THAT THE BATTERIES ARE INSERTED
CORRECTLY
i.e. CHECK POLARITY.
TESTING THE BATTERIES:
Test the Batteries When:
— A new battery is installed
—The camera has not been used for a long period of time.
— The camera is being used continuously for many hours.
To test the batteries, press the battery test button located next to the film speed dial (ASA / DIN). If the
batteries are in good condition, the center lamp (green LED) located at the right side of the viewfinder frame
