Changing the technician’s password
The technician’s password identifies you as
the technician and gives you access to the
technician’s conversation. Because all sys-
tem setup and maintenance is done in this
conversation, it is essential not only that
you remember the technician’s password,
but also that you prevent others from
learning it.
The password is initially set to 8324, (TECH
on keypads with letters). For the security of
your customer’s system, you must change
the password regularly. Choose a password
that you will not forget.
Tip To help you remember your password,
use the same one on each Lingo system you
install or use a word that you associate with
the customer.
