CONGRATULATIONS Thank you for purchasing Bushnell StableView binoculars. Be sure to read this manual thoroughly for proper use. Bushnell StableView binoculars use advanced technology in optics, electronics, and ergonomics. The stabilization feature built into these binoculars cancels out vibration from the outside and the shake that occurs with hand-held use, offering stabilized viewing without a tripod, even at high magnifications.
DIGITAL STABILIZING 2 HOW IT WORKS • AZ (azimuth) and EL (elevation) piezo gyro vibration sensors and direct-drive motors work together to move a gimbaled assembly with erecting prism to counteract vibration and keep the image steady, which offers shakefree viewing even from a moving vehicle. • The position sensor activates the stabilization feature as it detects vertical and horizontal motion. • The newly designed lenses are multi-coated for bright images.
HOW TO ADJUST AND FOCUS Eyepiece Rotate the rubber eyecups up or down to adjust the height. If you wear glasses or sunglasses when using the binoculars, set the eyepcups at their lowest positions. Interpupillary adjustment Use both eyes to look into the eyepieces and adjust the interpupillary distance to match the distance between your two eyes until you see just one perfectly circular image.
BATTERY INSTALLATION 1) Slide the battery compartment release switch on the handstrap to the Open position to release the battery holder. 2) Insert two new size AA alkaline batteries. 3) Attach the battery holder to the handstrap and slide the release switch to the locked position to secure the compartment. WARNING • NEVER slide the stabilization lever to the ACTIVE position if you do not have two batteries installed. Damage could result. • Use the same type of batteries. Do NOT mix old and new batteries.
STABILIZATION OPERATION When you press the Power button the first time, the LED lights in orange, and the binoculars go to Standby mode. Your Bushnell StableView binoculars go through an internal system check and take about five seconds to stabilize their performance. Then, turn the stabilization lever to the ACTIVE position. The LED turns green, indicating that the stabilization feature is active.
During fine mode operation, the LED will alternately flash in orange and green. Briefly pressing the power button again will switch operation back to normal mode, and the LED will return to a steady green light. Stabilization Lever Setting the stabilization lever back to the HOLD position turns the stabilization feature off, and the LED turns orange again, indicating Standby mode. Set the stabilization lever as you wish. Standby mode conserves battery power.
HOW TO USE THE HANDSTRAP The binoculars can be more securely held when you slip your hand through the handstrap. Slip your hand through the handstrap and adjust the belt length. To tighten the strap, pull the belt on the eyepiece end. To loosen the strap, lift the buckle on the backside of the handstrap and pull on the belt. WARNING The handstrap also serves as the battery holder. Do NOT apply strong force or remove the strap from the binoculars. Damage could result.
KEEP YOUR LENSES CLEAN Dust, salt, and oil left from fingerprint smudges should never be allowed to remain on the lenses because they can harm the coating applied to lens surfaces. Use lens cleaning tissues and a good lens cleaning fluid. Both are usually available wherever cameras, binoculars or eye glasses are sold. For best results, when you need to clean one lens, clean all four. Start by blowing off any dust that may be on the lenses. Then, follow these steps...

STABILISIERUNGSVORGANG Wenn Sie den An-/Aus-Schalter zum ersten Mal betätigen, leuchten die LED-Leuchten orange und das Fernglas geht in den Standby-Modus über. INSERIMENTO DELLE PILE 1) Far scorrere la linguetta di apertura dello scomparto pile, situato sulla cinghia a mano, sulla posizione Aperta. Il portapile si sgancia. 2) Inserire due nuove pile alcaline AA. 3) Fissare il portapile alla cinghia a mano e chiudere lo scomparto facendo scorrere la linguetta di apertura sulla posizione di chiusura. Far scorrere la linguetta di apertura Apri (rimozione del portapile). Chiudi (fissaggio del portapile).
FUNZIONAMENTO DELLA STABILIZZAZIONE Quando si preme il tasto di accensione per la prima volta, il LED s’illumina di arancione e il binocolo va in modalità Standby. Il binocolo Bushnell StableView esegue il controllo interno del sistema e richiede circa cinque secondi per stabilizzare le proprie prestazioni. Quindi, posizionare la levetta di stabilizzazione su ACTIVE (Attiva). Il LED diventa verde ad indicare che la funzione di stabilizzazione è attiva.
In modalità Fine, il LED lampeggia alternativamente in arancione e verde. Se si preme di nuovo, brevemente, il tasto di accensione, si ritorna in modalità Normale, e il LED torna a emettere una luce fissa verde. Levetta di stabilizzazione Quando si riposiziona la levetta di stabilizzazione su HOLD si disabilita la funzione di stabilizzazione e il LED si illumina di nuovo di arancione, ad indicare la modalità di Standby. Impostare la levetta di stabilizzazione come si desidera.
COME USARE LA CINGHIA A MANO Il binocolo è più sicuro se si inserisce la mano in questa cinghia. Inserire la mano e regolare la lunghezza della cinghia. Per accorciarla: tirarla alla fine dell’oculare. Per allungarla: sollevare la fibbia sul retro e tirare la cinghia a mano. AVVERTENZA La cinghia a mano serve anche da portapile. NON applicare una forza eccessiva e non togliere la cinghia dal binocolo: si potrebbero provocare dei danni.
TENERE PULITE LE LENTI Non lasciare che polvere, sale e impronte digitali rimangano sulle lenti poiché tali impurità potrebbero danneggiare il rivestimento applicato sulla loro superficie. Usare panni e un buon liquido detergente per lenti. Entrambi possono essere acquistati presso i negozi di fotocamere, binocoli od occhiali da sole. Per ottenere i migliori risultati, quando si rende necessario pulire una lente, pulirle tutte e quattro. Iniziare soffiando via eventuale polvere dalle lenti. Quindi...

COMO AJUSTAR E FOCALIZAR Corpo da ocular Gire as viseiras de borracha para cima ou para baixo para ajustar a altura. OPERAÇÃO DA ESTABILIZAÇÃO Ao pressionar o botão Power pela primeira vez, o LED acende na cor laranja e o binóculo passa para o modo de Standby. O binóculo Bushnell StableView passa por uma verificação do sistema interno e leva aproximadamente cinco segundos para estabilizar seu desempenho. Em seguida, gire a alavanca de estabilização para a posição ATIVA. O LED passa para a cor verde, indicando que o recurso de estabilização está ativo.
Durante a operação do modo de ajuste fino, o LED piscará alternadamente entre as cores laranja e verde. Pressionar novamente o botão Power retornará a operação ao modo normal e o LED voltará a acender com luz verde constante. Alavanca de estabilização Ajustar a alavanca de estabilização de volta para a posição HOLD desligará o recurso de estabilização e o LED passará novamente para a cor laranja, indicando o modo de Standby. COMO USAR A ALÇA DE MÃO O binóculo ficará preso com maior segurança quando você prendê-lo pela alça. Passe a mão pela alça e ajuste o comprimento da cinta. Para apertar a alça, puxe a cinta pela extremidade da ocular. Para afrouxar a alça, levante a fivela no lado de trás e puxe a cinta. ADVERTÊNCIA A alça de mão serve também como porta-pilhas. NÃO aplique muita força nem retire a alça do binóculo. Poderão ocorrer danos.
MANTENHA AS LENTES LIMPAS Não se deve permitir que manchas deixadas por dedos com poeira, sal e óleo permaneçam nas lentes, pois podem prejudicar o revestimento aplicado na sua superfície das lentes. Use lenços e um bom fluido de limpeza específicos para lentes. Eles podem ser encontrados em locais que vendem câmeras, binóculos ou óculos. Para melhores resultados, sempre limpe todas as lentes, mesmo que apenas uma esteja suja. Comece soprando para retirar qualquer sujeira que possa estar sobre elas.
