72 OPERATION
Briefly press button 1 back-
ward.
The speed is decreased by
1 mph (1.6 km/h) each time
the button is pressed.
Press button 1 back and hold.
The speed is decreased in in-
crements of 5 mph (8 km/h).
If button 1 is no longer
pressed, the speed reached is
maintained and saved.
Deactivating the cruise
control
Actuate the brakes or throttle
grip (ease the throttle beyond
the default setting) to deacti-
vate the adaptive cruise con-
trol.
If the clutch remains
pulled for more than
1.5 seconds, cruise control is
deactivated.
A message is shown in the
display.
Automatic deactivation
Cruise control is deactivated
automatically in the following
situations:
When falling below the min-
imum speed (stalling protec-
tion).
After several seconds when
driving at the maximum en-
gine speed.
In case of ABS or DTC inter-
vention.
In case of a system error.
If cruise control was automat-
ically deactivated, a message
appears in the display.
Resuming previous cruising
speed
Briefly push button 1 back
to return to the speed saved
beforehand.
Cruise control is not de-
activated by accelerating.
If you release the throttle grip,
the motorcycle will deceler-
ate only to the cruising speed
saved in memory, even though
