70 OPERATION
The active riding mode 2 fades
into the background and is
displayed in pop-up 3. The
guide 4 shows how many rid-
ing modes are available.
Press button 1 repeatedly un-
til the desired riding mode is
shown.
When the motorcycle is at a
standstill, the selected riding
mode is activated after ap-
prox. 2 seconds.
The new riding mode is acti-
vated while the motorcycle is
in motion under the following
conditions:
The throttle grip is in neutral.
Brake is not engaged.
The riding mode that is set
and its corresponding adjust-
ments of engine characteris-
tics and DTC control are re-
tained even after the ignition
is switched off.
CRUISE CONTROL
Switching on the adaptive
cruise control
Requirement
DTC is switched on and ABS is
active.
WARNING
Use of the cruise control in
unfavorable road conditions
Accident hazard
Do not use the cruise con-
trol in unfavorable road con-
ditions, e.g. in snow, on ice,
in torrential rain, in off-road
use and on slippery surfaces.
Do not use cruise control on
roads with many curves.
Slide switch 1 to the right.
