The ABS control unit has de-
tected an error. The ABS func-
tion is not available.
You may continue riding.

BMW Motorrad retailer.

function is not available. The
ABS function remains available.
ABS only supports braking in
straight-ahead riding.

DTC intervention
flashes rapidly.
DTC has detected instability at
the rear wheel and responded
by reducing the torque. The
indicator and warning light
flashes longer than the DTC
intervention lasts. This provides
the rider with visual feedback
for the control action that was
taken even after the critical sit-
uation has passed.
DTC self-diagnosis not
completed
flashes slowly.
