The tire pressures
are shown in the TFT
display with temperature
compensation and are always
based on the following tire
air temperature:
68 °F (20 °C)
Tire pressure gages at gas sta-
tions do not make any com-
pensation for the air tempera-
ture, the tire pressure indicated
depends on the temperature of
the air in the tire. As a result,
in most cases the values dis-
played there do not match the
values shown in the display.
Tire pressure adjustment
Compare the RDC value in the
display with the value on the
back cover of the operating
instructions. The difference be-
tween the two values must be
compensated with the tire in-
flation pressure tester at the
filling station.
Example
According to the Owner's
Manual, the tire pressure
should be as follows:
36.3 psi (2.5 bar)
The multifunction display
shows the following figure:
Example
33.4 psi (2.3 bar)
The shortfall is thus:
2.9 psi (0.2 bar)
The tester at the filling sta-
tion shows:
34.8 psi (2.4 bar)
To obtain the correct tire
pressure, that has to be in-
creased to the following fig-
ure:
37.7 psi (2.6 bar)

load conditions and in virtually
all engine-speed ranges
without operating the clutch or
accelerator.
Benefits
70-80 % of all gearshifts can
be performed without using
the clutch.
