108 TFT DISPLAY
Range
The range 1 indicates how far
you can ride with the remaining
fuel. This distance is calculated
on the basis of average con-
sumption and the fuel quantity
on board.
When the motorcycle is
propped on its side stand,
the slight angle of inclination
means that the sensor cannot
register the fuel quantity
correctly. For this reason, the
range is only recalculated
when the side stand is folded
in.
The range is displayed to-
gether with a warning once
the fuel reserve is reached.
After refueling, the range is
recalculated if the fuel quan-
tity is greater than the fuel
reserve.
The calculated range is only
an approximate figure.
Upshift recommendation
The upshift recommendation
in the Pure Ride 1 view or in
the status line 2 indicates the
best time for an upshift from
an economical perspective.

Switching on the split screen
and selecting a display
Show Pure Ride view
( 103).
Briefly press the Multi-Con-
troller 1 to the left or right
repeatedly until the desired
display appears.
As an alternative, press the
Multi-Controller 1 to the right
and hold to return to the last
