Images from different distances focus in front of or behind the scope’s reticle. Parallax is more noticeable with higher magnification scopes. Parallax is adjusted by rotating the parallax adjustment ring located on the objective bell.

Determining an accurate distance to your target is key, and Burris recommends using a rangefinder in the field for optimum accuracy.
