[1] Explanation of Firing Sequences:

Gas and Gas Sequence on Combination Gas/Oil Boilers

On-Off Fixed fire with slow opening gas valve, fixed air.

On-Off LFS Low fire start (not proven), high fire run, Lo-Hi-Off gas valve, air control by linkage from motorized gas valve.

Full Mod Full modulation with proven low fire start, synchronized fuel/air control by modulating motor.

Oil and Oil Sequence on Combination Gas/Oil Boilers

On-Off On-Off fixed fire, fix air.

On-Off LFS Low fire start (not proven), high fire, oil cylinder air control. Reduced input start with by-pass.

Full Mod Full modulation with proven low fire start, synchronized fuel/air control by modulating motor. With oil metering valve and oil pressure

regulating valve.

[2] Gas is 1/4 hp and Oil & Combination Gas/Oil is 1/3 hp

[3] Gas trains for models 1654 and larger boilers are Siemens.
