7.2.3. CUTOFF -
Sealing Function for the Positioner
This function causes the valve to be sealed outside the control range.
You can enter the limits for the position set-point value here as a percentage. When these limits are reached, the
actuator will be fully deaerated or aerated respectively.
Control mode resumes at a hysteresis of 1%.
Factory setting: close tight low = 2%;
close tight high = 98%
The switching position of the DIP switches in the positioner takes precedence over the communication
software, i.e. settings of the sealing function (CUTOFF) that are modified through the communication
software are only active if the corresponding DIP switch in the positioner is set to ON.
