Without Global Control-Operate Activate / deactivate Global Control Operate
On Global Control-Operate only In order to enter Data Exchange mode, the master must transmit a Glo-
bal Control Operate. Otherwise, the BUS (BF) LED flashes
(e. g.if the PLC is at stop).
 
With Short circuit detection Short circuits on the digital outputs and non-existent driven outputs are
detected. Incorrect messages can be output, however, in the event of
capacitive loads.
Without Short circuit detection Short circuits on the digital outputs and non-existent driven outputs are
not detected.
 
Input filter ON Only signals with a length >4 ms are detected on the feedback inputs.
Incorrect messages due to ESD are thus avoided.
Input filter OFF Signals with a length of <4 ms are also detected on the feedback in-
puts. Incorrect messages may therefore be transmitted when using M8
plugs (without plastic insert) due to ESD.
