DEPICTIONS INTENDED PURPOSE The following depictions are used in these instructions. The FreeLINE Type 8645 modular, electrical and pneumatic automation system may only be used for the applications described in the chapter FreeLINE System Description and only in conjunction with equipment and components from other companies recommended or approved by Bürkert. Observe the instructions in this quick-start, as well as the conditions of use and permissible data specified in the chapter Technical Data.
CAUTION! CAUTION! Danger due to electromagnetic fields! The device contains electronic components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Contact with electrostatically charged persons or objects endangers these components. In the worst case they can be destroyed immediately, or fail after commissioning. • Observe the requirements according to EN 100015 - 1 in order to minimise or avoid the possibility of damage from sudden electrostatic discharge.
INSTALLATION CAUTION! Danger due to electromagnetic fields! If the FE connectors are not connected, the EMC-law conditions are not adhered to! • Pay attention to the correct positioning of the gaskets around the electronic and pneumatic components. Start with the field bus / multipole module. The sequence of modules is random to the right of the field bus / multipole module.
C) Block mounting CAUTION! Proceed with block mounting as follows: Wall: → install the block on the wall → install the FE connection on the front of the field bus module Material damage due to leakage in the system! Open DIN rail mountings and locking bolts (modules) result in leaks within the system.
