APPENDIX A: TROUBLESHOOTING
This section outlines scenarios for troubleshooting Arcadia.
MY BROWSER DOESN’T ASK FOR THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD EACH TIME I LOG IN
To prevent Chrome, Edge, and other non-Firefox browsers from saving the username/password when signing into
Arcadia, follow these steps:
1. Open Windows Control panel
2. Search for Internet Options.
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Click the Security tab.
5. Click Internet.
6. Click Custom Level…
7. Scroll to the bottom of the list to find User Authentication.
8. Select Prompt for username and password.
9. Click OK
This will ensure that you are prompted for a username and password each time you log in. This does not apply to
Firefox, which doesn’t use the Internet Options settings for Windows.
For Firefox, if the default settings are used, the browser will request for credentials each time the browser is closed
unless the credentials are saved. You can check the default state by entering "about: support" in the Firefox
browser, find "Important Modified Preferences". This lists all the changed flags in Firefox.
