Stress test displays
Display elements
Caution: Data truncation.
If all display elements are selected for a stress test, some items will be truncated if the display
is at the minimum screen resolution.
Heart rate
As soon as the electrodes are applied, the heart rate symbol blinks with every beat. When
the patient reaches the heart rate target or limit, the heart rate symbol displays in red and
the limit value (maximum permissible heart rate) and the percentage reached display.
You can configure the maximum value to be a fixed limit or the system can compute the
maximum value as a function of the patient's age.
To set the limit values before the stress test procedure, see Stress test parameters on
page 6-25.
To change the basic settings see, Basic settings for limit and target values on page 6-13.
The system always calculates the heart rate by averaging over 10 seconds. The default is:
the value averaged for10 seconds.
Blood pressure
The system displays the blood pressure. When the pre-selected systolic or diastolic limits
are reached, the values are indicated in red.
As the blood pressure is automatically measured or is entered manually, the value displays
as the current value for one minute. Within this time, you can correct the blood pressure
value. At the end of the minute, the value is cleared and displays as Last in the upper line
of the blood pressure display. To enter a new value wait until the current value is blank.
Figure 6-2: Example of blood pressure display
During the ECG acquisition, you can measure the blood pressure values several times
automatically one after the other (considering the one minute time delay), or enter them
manually. The system starts the automatic measurement only after completion of the
measuring process.
To enter a blood pressure value:
Click the BP icon or the blank blood pressure field, or press Shift + F3.
See Measuring and entering blood pressure on page 3-13.
