Acquire a Stress Test ECG
Workflow The user that is logged displays as the technician. The Requesting
Department is pre-populated from the Order information, if applicable.
To c h an ge t h e wo r kf l ow :
1. Select a technician from the menu.
2. Select the Requesting Department from the menu.
Annotations You can select the messages that display and set the notification
thresholds. The changes are used only for the current test procedure. For the next test
procedure, the defaults are restored.
Protocol When you start a treadmill stress test or a bicycle stress test all applicable stress
test protocols are available for selection.
Note: When creating or modifying a bicycle exercise protocol for stress testing, the user
should set the load values for Recovery to zero (0).
A stress test protocol is assigned to a test procedure in: File | Options… | 12 Lead ECG |
Tes t pr oce du re s and select the stress test and then change the Exercise Settings.
To... Do this...
Enable warning messages • Select the option.
If the option is enabled, a warning message displays when
the limit value is exceeded.
Change the threshold value
• Click in the field and enter the new value or use the arrow
keys to scroll the values.
Change the heart frequency
percentage
• Click 100%.
This toggles the Heart Rate field between absolute value
and percentage.

Use a different protocol • Select the protocol from the list.
If the list contains no suitable protocol,
you can change a protocol.
Change the default protocol
• Select: File | Options… | 12 Lead ECG |
