SECTION 2: SETUP WIZARD
The Setup Wizard will take you step by step through the vehicle selection process and download pro-
cess. To start the setup wizard follow these three steps:
1. Properly dock the PMT onto the cradle as explained in Section 5 of the installation instructions.
2. Insert the key into the vehicle ignition and turn it to the run position. Do not turn the engine on
at this point.
3. The PMT screen will now light up and the Setup Wizard will appear on the screen.
NOTICE: If this PMT has been previously installed on another vehicle the PMT will not go through the
setup wizard, it will go strait to the Main Screen. To download under this situation you will need to navi-
gate through the Main Menu to the Change Vehicle menu, select the correct vehicle, and then go into
the Install Download screen to initiate a download.
It is important that the information displayed throughout the setup wizard is read care-
fully before proceeding to the download process.
