Installing Drivers after the Upgrade
This section provides the procedures for installing the driver(s) for optional
controller(s) after the upgrade.
Caution
You may need to install multiple drivers, depending on your
environment.
Installing a driver for the RAID Controller
LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS 8708EM2 RAID Controller
LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS PCI EXPRESS ROMB (on the mother board)
1. Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.
2. Diagnostics > Device Manager.
■ Under Storage Controllers, right-click LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS
8708EM2 RAID Controller, and click Update Driver Software.
■ For BULL NovaScale R480 E1, Under Storage Controllers, right-click
LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS PCI Express ROMB, and click Update
Driver Software.
3. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
4. Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and click Next.
5. Click Have Disk....
6. Select the path to the folder in which the driver is stored (e.g. your storage
media storing the Driver Set) and click Open.

7. On the Install From Disk screen, click OK.
8. Back to the Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware
screen, click Next.
The driver installation starts.
9. Click Close, and restart the computer if prompted to do so.
The driver update is complete.
