View BMC System Event Log
This feature displays the BMC System Event Log (SEL). It shows the total num-
ber of entries of BMC System Events. To view an event, select an Entry Number
and pressing <Enter> to display the information as shown in the screen..
• Total Number of Entries
• SEL Entry Number
• SEL Record ID
• SEL Record Type
• Timestamp, Generator ID
• Event Message Format User
• Event Sensor Type
• Event Sensor Number,
• Event Dir Type
• Event Data.
Clear BMC System Event Log
Clear BMC System Log
Select OK and press the <Enter> key to clear the BMC system log. Select to
keep the BMC System log. The options are OK and Cancel..
Caution: Any cleared information is unrecoverable. Make absolutely sure
that you no longer need any data stored in the log before clearing the
BMC Event Log.
