Setting Up the System
When the power cables are plugged into the electrical outlet, the following occurs:
The fans in the system unit start spinning.
A scrolling ball, moving from left to right, may be seen in the operator panel display (6) for
a very short time. Four–character checkpoints in the format 8xxx and 9xxx will then be
displayed.
The operator panel displays an OK message, and the green power LED (2) is slowly
blinking. When this occurs, your system is in Standby mode. The figure below shows the
operator panel and the locations of operator panel components that are referred to in this
procedure.

If your system does not stop in Standby mode, check all cables for good connection. If you
cannot find a problem, call your support center for assistance.
Step 18. Your System Unit is Now Set Up
Arrange your system unit and attached devices so that you can use them comfortably.
