1. Escala S Series Memory
1.1. Escala S100 Model (CMMG111, CMMG112, CMMG113)
CMMG113 Discontinued: 15/09/2003.
The Escala S Series system memory is organized in memory banks. The motherboard contains six 168-
pin standard DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Modules) slots.
ECC DIMM modules correct single-bit errors that may occur in any byte of DIMM data. It is
recommended for systems that run critical applications.
The maximum memory bank configuration is 128 MB.
The maximum memory configuration is 768 MB.
A memory bank can be made up of DIMMs having capacity of 32/64/128 MB.
The Escala S100 supports the following memory DIMMs:

Specifically:

The 32MB memory bank is memory with EDO Mode and 4M x 72 DRAM DIMM with ECC
using 4Mx4, 2K/4K Refresh (CMMG111 –
discontinued
).

The 64MB memory bank is memory with EDO Mode and 8M x 72 DRAM DIMM with ECC
using 8Mx4, 4K/8K Refresh (CMMG112).

The 128MB memory bank is memory with EDO Mode and 16M x 72 DRAM with ECC using
16Mx4, 4K/8K Refresh (CMMG113).
1.2. Escala S120 Model (CMMG118, CMMG119, CMMG120)
The Escala S120 supports 64 MB (CMMG118 –
discontinued
), 128 MB (CMMG119) or 256 MB
(CMMG120) memory modules (ECC, SDRAM, 10ns) in a Dual In-line Memory Module (DIMM)
package. The maximum memory configuration is 1 GB.
Memory must comply with the following specifications:
