4.4. DVD-RAM Drives
4.4.1. 4.7 GB SCSI-2 DVD-RAM Drive (MTUG040, MTUG047)
The SCSI-2 DVD-RAM drive is a multifunction storage device capable of reading and writing 4.7GB
DVD-RAM discs and reading CD-ROM discs.
This device also provides read/write compatibility with conventional 2.6GB DVD-RAM discs. Boot
and install is done from CD-ROM disc while backup/restore is done from the 4.7GB DVD-RAM
media cartridge.

Limitations

DVD video is not supported.

Universal Data Format (UDF) for DVD-RAM is not supported.
