From the server point of view, each server can only access to its allocated storage resource, (defined
through Navisphere Manager), avoiding conflicts and administrator errors with other servers sharing
the same array.

Access Logix requires well defined configurations:
DAS 4500 with dual SP or DAS 4700/4700-2
connection to fibre channel switches
dual adapters and ATF on all the servers sharing the DAS
Access Logix cannot be used for DAS connected to hubs, neither external, nor SP's built-in hubs.

There is a version of Access Logix for each DAS product (4500, 4700 and 4700-2). Access Logix
provides the same features on all subsystems.
