Operational Requirements

Any PL420T with one CPU slot available.
•
1.2 GHz processor cards and 1.45 GHz processor cards cannot be mixed in the same PL420T
11.5.4. CPU Board with 2-way POWER+@1.45GHz – 8 MB L3 cache (CPUG090)
This processor card also incorporates eight memory DIMM positions for installation of system
memory if desired.
The Power Kit contains the following items:
•
One 2-way PowerPC POWER4+@1.45GHz CPU board – 8 MB L3 cache per CPU.

11.5.5. Swap 1-way POWER4+@1.45GHz with 2-way POWER4+@1.45GHz (CPKG272)
The Power Kit contains the following items:

One 2-way POWER4+@1.45GHz CPU board - 8MB L3 cache per CPU.

Any PL420T with a 1-way POWER4+@1.45GHz CPU board - 8MB L3 cache per CPU.
The removed CPU board becomes the property of Bull.
11.5.6. Swap 1-way POWER4+@1.2GHz with 1-way POWER4+@1.45GHz (CPKG273)
The Power Kit contains the following items:

One 1-way POWER4+@1.45GHz CPU board - 8MB L3 cache per CPU.
Operational Requirements

Any PL420T with a 1-way POWER4+@1.2GHz CPU board - 8MB L3 cache per CPU.
•
All the 1-way 1.2 GHz CPU boards must be swapped
The removed CPU board becomes the property of Bull.
