11.1. PL420T Description
The PL420T provides:

One 1-way, 2-way or 4-way CPU board.
•
2 slots for CPUs Boards (1 or 2 CPUs on each one)
•
Expandable DDR SDRAM Memory up to 32 GB
•
The system service processor
•
6 hot plug PCI-X bus slots
•
1 integrated Ultra3 SCSI SE controller
•
2 integrated Ultra3 SCSI busses (one for an internal port and one for an external port)
•
4 hot-swap disk bays
•
2 Medias Bays :
•
1 Open Bay for CD-ROM/DVD-ROM or DVD-RAM
•
1 Open Bay for Disquette /DVD-RAM or tape drive (optionnal)
•
Keyboard and mouse ports
•
Two 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet port

3 serial ports
•
2 serial ports dedicated for HMC attachement
